The Uffa10 is part of the ten-foot class.
It is a boat designed to obtain good racing performance while maintaining the possibility of easy tourist use.
The hull is of the chine type with a rather limited dihedral in the hull to facilitate gliding. The sides are vertical to maximize waterline width while keeping the boat fairly narrow. We have, therefore, a boat suitable for light winds, being able to carry it flat in load-bearing gaits and heeled on an edge upwind.
The construction of the Uffa10 is 6 mm marine plywood and for the transom 10 mm marine plywood is used.
